Okay so to be totally honest I started out hating the bitch. I mean, Goblet of Fire wasn’t a very good introduction to her, was it? And then came her begging Snape to help Draco and I softened up a little. And then SUDDENLY she’s giving Draco the family’s last wand (leaving her and Lucius without them) and then SHE’S LYING STRAIGHT TO VOLDY’S FACE to save her son. AND HE BELIEVED HER. She lied to someone who couldn’t be lied to. And I was sitting there reading like… Oh damn you! I wanted to hate you! So then after that she goes running around Hogwarts trying to find Draco and, yeah, she had me. I know her family did some pretty crappy stuff but she wasn’t a Death Eater and she saved Harry’s ass. I think that she was one of the best examples of a mother in the book. The things she did for Draco were amazing.
